Jolly Bouncers is the name of the company that provided the bouncer that we rented. The company was terrific. They communicated well, were friendly, responsive, texted their ETA, and provided the best sparkly rainbow bouncer, just like Gracie wanted. It was a delightful day. And a perfect backyard party.

It was an all day affair -- and I thought that I'd be done by noon! Ha! Ha! I'm just glad I didn't track blue icing all over the house!!!!

What a fun adventure, courtesy of my dad! I do remember my father, always peeking in the cash registers during our shopping excursions, and asking if there were any silver dollars to be had. And when he got a Silver Certificate dollar as change, he was delighted, and immediately tucked it into his collection! I'm not sure what he ever intended to do with the collection, but I KNOW that he would be delighted that his daughter turned them in on the day that the price of silver

Gracie's mom is renting a Unicorn Bounce House, and unicorn headbands for all the guests! It's going to be magical!

Did I know in 1981 when I married this guy, how special he really was? Of course I did! But I'm still proud of that decision to say "I do." And I've been proud of him ever since.

I recorded the first video on Thursday night. And then went to bed. I decided not to publish it. I was despondent, and didn't want to inflict that on you. But before I took myself to bed, I asked Robert if there was any place to protest the next day. A few minutes later he said that there was a "pop up" protest on the 101 Freeway overpass. I said, "Let's go." So that's how it all came about. And I'm telling you that being on that overpass was important for two reasons. 1)

So many hours spent in creating these artistic beauties. It was a delight to see Dottie's many quilts. Busy days, but this week whenver I walk outside into my front garden, I am astonished by the beatuy of my irises! And I just cannot help myself. I just start taking pictures, even though I probably took the same pictures last year! It doesn't matter. They give my joy every time they bloom. But especially now. We need beauty to sustain us.

I recommend for the grandchildren! Museums can be rough for the littles, but this museum is really great for the grands. There's lots of hands on activites, lots of fun things to see that make sense to tiny ones, lots of color and sound, and a large play area in the middle of the museum! It doesn't get better than that!
