My Dad's Coin Collection!

What a fun adventure, courtesy of my dad! I do remember my father, always peeking in the cash registers during our shopping excursions, and asking if there were any silver dollars to be had. And when he got a Silver Certificate dollar as change, he was delighted, and immediately tucked it into his collection!

I'm not sure what he ever intended to do with the collection, but I KNOW that he would be delighted that his daughter turned them in on the day that the price of silver was the highest it has ever been! I'm actually convinced that he whispered in my ear to head to the Coin Connection today!

The coin shop was bustling. The proprietors said that metal prices were so high, that every body was selling but few were buying. Although, while we were there, a customer came in to purchase a Kruggerand!

It was a world that I had never experienced, and it was great fun to explore. Gold and Silver prices are through the roof! I'm going to check my jewel box to see what else I might be able to part with! You should too!
