Bagel Board!

I got caught up in hosting and didn't take enough pictures or video. I often have this trouble. And the reason is that I am not a "calculated" content creator. I literally create content around what I do evetyday. There is no pretense, no rehearsal, and probably not enough thought behind it all. But that's the point of this blog. It's about my real life. And if my real life gets in the way of filming for blog content, I always just live my life, and forget about creating content...like I did today!

So let me tell you what I didn't show you because I needed to tend to my guests!

1) I offered both egg salad, and tuna salad, in the little clear bowls, in case guests wanted to make bagel sandwiches.

2) I also offered fresh cut fruit to provide a palate cleanser, and a little sweet for the meal.

3) Additionally, mimosas were on the menu. They're so easy - champagne (Prosecco) and orange juice, and they feel kinda fancy, so I like that.

4) I piled the bagels in a very unfancy basket with a cloth liner.

5) I had a little Valentine motif going on with a Valentine runner, and my patissiere dec'd for the season. ( I'll show you that next week!)

This is a great meal for 2 or 20. I only had 4 today ... and I felt good about it. It's particularly good if you are NOT a chef. It feels fancy like you are treating your guests to fine dining when all you do is collect some good ingredients and display them beautifully.

Try it this weekend!
