Quilting Beauty!

So many hours spent in creating these artistic beauties. It was a delight to see Dottie's many quilts. The quilt in the thumbnail above was my favorite, though it is hard to choose because the quilts were all so beautiful in very different ways.

Attention to detail, and a passion for the work, no matter the discipline, are always qualities that I admire. Dottie's eztraordinary quilts show both of these characteristics. They owe their beauty to a devotion to craft rare in these times.

What a beautiful legacy Dottie will leave for her children and grandchilden. Not the just these beautiful quilts, but the knowledge that their mom and grandma was a woman of great skill, creativity, determination, and joy. Her quilts tell us all of that and more.
