Georgetown has been one of my favorite haunts over the last decade because my daughter, Julia, attended Georgetown University, and then stayed in D.C and worked there for several years. So I flew back and forth 2 times (at least!) a year to see my baby girl, and to enjoy the sights of D.C. She lives there now with her husband, Dan.
However, generally, when I visited Julia, most of the sights included a trip down "M" Street! We have had such good times sashaying down the street, eating at Ethiopian restaurants, shopping at T.J. Max for matching purses, and apartment furniture, tasting the delights of Dean and DeLuca, and avoiding afternoon downpours!
More than anything else, though. I love my time with Julia. My darling Julia.
