The thing I love most about our patio party is that the china tells the story. The Haviland china is my daughter Jackie's husband's great grandmother's. Matt's grandmother, Joan, gifted the set to Jackie and Matt, and Donna, Matt's mom, was the caretaker who packed and sent it all to the West Coast from New Jersey.
The crystal on the table belonged to my mother, Verna Bickett, Jackie's grandmother and Abby's great grandmother. So by using these two beautiful settings, the families merge, and their history goes on in the children that will be the new owners. Such a beautiful story.
Here's the recipes that I used for the party:
Slow Cooker Tri Tip:
Broccoli Mandarin Salad ( this is s winner! )
Apple Cider Doughnut Cake
Thank you Jill it was a fabulous dinner and dessert was amazing!!! My Grandmother was smiling from heaven. ❤️
