Vaccinated!

History really does repeat itself. I remember when I was little, my grandparents would leave soooo early, like 2 hours early, for their doctors' appointments. Well, today, we were just like my grandparents. We left at 9:00 a.m. for a 10:30 appointment, but you know what? We didn't get vaccinated until 10:30 -- so we were exactly right on time!! And besides we are grandparents. So that's fair.

It is a massive vaccination operation at Dodger Stadium. It went smoothly, and I tried to take better pictures, but 1) I am lousy camera operator 2) security admonished me for taking video. Nonetheless, Robert and I felt good about how it was handled, and how organized it was, even though they probably vaccinate about 12,000 people a day!

I think we've had very little side effects from the vaccine -- except that we had to have our favorite submarine sandwich after we got the shot. And maybe our arms are a little sore.

Lucky. Lucky. Lucky. We didn't want to get our hopes up too high -- but we got vaccinated on the first day that we were eligible. Thanks for all your good wishes!!
