Mary and Jim were such expert Tulare Lake tour guides. Both are now retired from Boswell, the current owner of the Tulare Lake bed, but their years of experience made them a fount of information about the the lake bed, its uses, and the previous floods that the region has experienced. Plus, as residents of Corcoran, they are very invested in the outcome of the most recent flooding. Jim checks the lake water elevation every day!
It was a pleasure to spend time with them and learn about the place that has been their passion for the last 40 years.
