Here's the important data about Kitty:

1) Wandered onto our property in 2009. (Just before my daughter Jackie's graduation party from Boston College!) Kitty was just born. Tiny. Weak. Her mom had abandoned her. We fed her milk. She adopted us.

2) She stayed and expected to be fed everyday twice a day -- for 16 years! She sits at our den windows and waits for us to feed her. She can be rather noisy!

3) We caught her in her first year with us...just one time, and had her spayed. She did not like that at all.

4) We have tried to catch her subsequently when we were worried about her, but she ran away and we were unable to take her to the vet. Apparently she didn't need it! She's been fine for 16 years!

4) Recently she has wanted to be near us, but still skittish.

5) We hire babysitters for her when we are away, so we know she is always fed.

6) Today was the first day that I held her. It surprised both her mom and dad!

7) We're happy that she found a home with us, despite her eccentricity.

8) It's a rather unusual pet to have, but we have enjoyed her. And she is a lucky kitty to have come to live with us!
