I took this video the day after the party. Robert was watching me and said, "That's not the way you should start your story about the party!" Apparently he thinks I need a blogging manager.
But, of course, I didn't start my story of this lovely event with the dish washing! But neither could I leave it out.
This is real life. You plan and plan and then the big event happens, and before you know it you are cleaning up afterwards, and putting away all the party goods. In this case, it meant also putting away all the china and silver. A very big job! But I accomplished it in one morning, and even had time to order one more knife to complete one of my sets of silver.
Plus, I had the enjoyment of communing with all of my lovely dishes, and remembering when each of them was used, and all the beautiful occasions that I have enjoyed them. So that was a bonus too.
Now on to Abby's 2nd birthday and the wedding!
