What a privilege to be the caretaker of this gorgeous china. It is stunning. But most importantly, it will provide a link to Jackie and Matt's family history, and will remind them of the importance of family, of breaking bread around table with loved ones, and of continuing to be caretaker of their family legacy.
I am so grateful to Donna, Matt's mom, & Jackie's mother in law, and Joan, Matt's grandmother, for thinking of me when they were perplexed about what to do regarding this beautiful china. I already have plans for using it when Matt's family comes to visit California. What a special meal that will be.
Plus, thanks to the packers who did an amazing job, with not a piece damaged. It's so good to know that there are people who have such a strong work ethic, and care about the quality of their work.
