What to do with your Mom's China?

Just this video tonight. I had to stay up late to edit it because I was having technical difficulties! Thanks to my son-in-law Matt who got me up and running.

I'll just make one confession -- I have over 20 sets of china at my house -- not all of them are complete sets, and some are just a few dinner plates, but nonetheless, 20 sets of any kind of china may mean that I have a problem! But I promise you I use them all -- and I can tell you when I last set a table with each piece!

Maybe one day I will do a blog to show them all to you!

I can NOT tell you how much I love this table setting! It's gorgeous - and I am so glad you shared! Lucky you to have a daughter to love them!

Thank you! I enjoyed them for many years.

Yes, very lucky indeed, and for many reasons. I have three wonderful daughters. The oldest is very minimalist and has a set similar to your wedding set. The youngest has three rambunctious elementary school kids and their family is strictly Corelle. So I was thrilled that the middle one coveted them.

I would love to one day see *all* your plates! Here is a picture of a set of octagonal Bohemian glass (not the kind from detergent boxes) that belonged to a great aunt, then to my mother, then to me, and now to my daughter, who has loved them as much as I have. Service for twelve - dinner, and cake plates, soup bowls, salad bowls, cups and saucers, and assorted serving pieces
