It's such a big Christmas tree (12 feet!) - and such a big job that it takes lots of people to trim the tree!
We always have lots of fun trimming our tree, all 43 years. And lots of people over the years have been a part of our tradition. Of course, our daughters have been with us most of those years...but there are 4 people who have been with us every single year. Every single year.
Sherri & Paul & Jeanne & Eric. Our dear dear friends, who, though they don't celebrate Christmas in their home, are always so generous and willing to celebrate Christmas in ours. They are the best tree trimmers in the world. And our best friends.
It wouldn't be the same without them.
We are so grateful for our 43 years together.
