It's hard to describe, but seeing an eclipse is a very emotional experience. Spiritual even. And the first time that I saw an eclipse, I cried from the sheer power of seeing nature's true majesty and mystery.
This time, though, I cried for a different reason. It's true, that the experience was very moving. But my tears today, were tears of joy.
I felt great joy to see my Robert so enthralled, so enthusiastic, so happy to be under the eclipsed sun on this extraordinary day.
Grateful for this day. Grateful for him. Grateful to be by his side.
