Santa Monica Pier with the Grands!

To be honest, the main reason we went to the pier was the carousel. AND IT WASN"T OPERATIONAL THAT DAY. There was no way to know this, but boy did we have two disappointed littles. And the operators could have cared less, couldn't provide any information about the timeline for operation, and pretty much ignored all the littles that were longingly looking at the carousel.

I'll tell you what. I 'm not going back. Plus, the rides on the pier were all for older children, so that was a bust. It's always a delight to be with the grands, and they were so good depite the disappointment. But did I say? I'm not going back.
