Knott's Berry Farm & a Chicken Dinner with my Buddy

What a treat. A walk down memory lane. We did NOT actually visit the amusement park - maybe one day we will with our grandchildren! I still have the horse shoe, with my name engraved on it, that my dad had made at the Blacksmith's. And I think that he also had our family brand made there too! ( I told you he thought he was a cowboy! Even in the San Fernando Valley!) Our brand was JVJ for Jerry (my dad), Verna (my mom) and Jill (me!). And my dad branded all our fences and even the three legged stool that now sits on our fireplace hearth. Such happy memories!
