I loved every minute of this! Seeing the mansion (it couldn't have been more perfect), and the many museums (so fabulous)! We were on the VIP tour -- got there at 10:00 a.m. and didn't get back to the hotel until 4:00 p.m.! There's so much to see. And it was also very poignant, knowing that both Elvis and Lisa Marie have left us.
So, as I watch a fabulous Hallmark movie tonight, (Wedding at Graceland), I am remembering the wonderful day that we had, and the sweet memories of Elvis' songs.
But I am also remembering the time in 1974 that I surprised my mom with 2 tickets to Elvis Presley Live at the Los Angeles Forum, where we had a girls trip, just the two of us, to see the greatest Rock and Roll legend of all time, and my mom's absolute favorite. I am so glad that we made that memory together.
