Can I tell you that this made my day? I told Robert -- this is an absolutely silly post -- who wants to see artichoke roots? But you did! He was right -- he said, that outside of California artichokes are an oddity! Thank you! Yes we are having lovely time-- and I'm taking lots of pictures to share!
An ignorant easterner here. I never saw an artichoke growing! Fascinating, they taste so much better than they look, although the flower is pretty. Are they related to Cacti?..... .....hope you and Robert are enjoying your time in the mountain peace and quiet,.... despite the mosquitoes!
