What a lovely evening with a friend from many years ago. A grade school friend! I feel lucky to have roots that go so far back, and friends to share memories with from when I was knee high to a gate post!
I always enjoy entertaining - and since we rebuilt our backyard space, it's even more fun to host guests in our outside garden space. Overlooking the fall garden, a warm night, and a soft glow from our patio lights...a perfect evening.
I think I'm going to do a blog on how to deal with china that you don't want or don't know what to do with. I have lots of ideas and opinions about this - plus I'm a research wizard about china patterns. I's a secret hobby of mine. In fact, when my kids walk behind me when I'm working on my computer - they always tease me that I'm looking at china -- which, in fact, I am! So I guess it's not so secret.
At any rate, dinner in the garden in November was lovely. Maybe...Christmas around the fire pit!!!!
