Accidental Drought Border!


By this time last year, I had a fully blooming marigold border, with lots of blooms and loads of color. The border today is much less dense, and colorful, but a miracle all the same.


It's alive! In the 100 degree heat with much less water, it's actually a bright spot in the neighborhood, and I couldn't be happier.


I'm afraid what will happen when the Gerber daisies stop producing, which I think may be soon. I hoping to drop in some zinnia seeds, and see if they will grow even in these adverse conditions.


It's almost too much to worry about.


My Robert, and my Jackie are Covid free -- and my little family is all well at the moment and that seems blessing enough.
