A Lesson in Belleek!
Despite the difficult news over the weekend about the Ukranian conflict, the garden still grows, and there are still joys to be anticipated. It's emotionally taxing to live two lives like this...one that is anxious about world affairs, and another that is trying mightily to keep things as normal as possible for family and for myself.
But I intend to keep trying, because, well we have no choice. And so, I will celebrate St. Patrick's Day. And plan for Easter. And enjoy my family being together for the holidays.
Enough said about that.
I've been to Ireland a couple times. Both times for the Irish Dance World Championships. And it was such a wonderful experience. I want to go back because I didn't get to see half enough. I could feel my Irish roots singing!
I definitely want to go to Belleek, where they make the pottery. There are so many incredible historic pieces to see, and I could always use some new china! Once we start traveling again, it's at the top of my list. If you've been to Belleek, let me know...I want to know all about it!
