Trying to regroup after a busy weekend. And the best way is to start another project! There's no better project than spoiling the grands!

Sixty four years together. (We met in the first grade!) So much joy. Happy birthday, buddy!

I don't feel like I did the book justice. It's a very compelling read. And I really encourage you to put it on your list. And share! Ask your book club to read it. Let's give Debra the launch she deserves!

I still love this piece even though it's kinda old fashioned and grandma-y. But whatever. I'm a grandma. And I love the possibilities of this. I will continue to use it during the holidays, and maybe some fresh flowers during the summer. I'm not sure the succulent idea is the right one - but it's ok for now. I didn't want to leave her naked!

Going to bed early tonight! But I took myself to HomeGoods as a reward...and bought some great socks!

What a fun day! I really recommend for next year! But two tips -- Go early, and bring a hat! It was a littls warm, but so enjoyable being among book lovers!

What fun shopping for a teeny dress for Frances! I do think I need to do a little more shopping for the peanut, though! Can't wait!

The best part is that we can live with it a little before we decide. It's quite a change! I'm still getting used to it. And feeling some trepidation about all the "white"! But grateful to Robert for the idea and for holding my hand throughout. And to Mechelle and Ashley for putting up with us as they made "magic" in our home!

HUNDREDS of mules! HUNDREDS! So. Many. Mules. But so much fun! Beautiful weather. The granddaughters were at first reluctant to stand for the parade, but after it got started, they said that they "never wanted to leave!" Robert felt differently (ha! ha!)...but it was wonderful to enjoy the festivities with my daughter and the littles on this special Tennessee day.

It was a busy weekend for sure. And this was just the start! Seeing my daughter & the grands was the best part...but the mules came in second! Tune in tomorrow to see the show!

It's been a harrowing couple of days. I decided to focus on the garden.

And that's all I have to say about that.

I guess this is called a rant. But my granddaughters still didn't get Easter baskets. So I don't really feel any better.

And now the Easter Bunny is going to put her feet up!

And Passover too! May the holidays bring us the joy of our faith, and the strength to keep moving forward toward the light.
