Valentine's Day and the Horny Toad

The image of my mom in her hosting finest, with tea on the table, and the drapery catalogues on her lap -- and then her little girl coming in to surprise her with a misbehaved horny toad in her hand. And I thought that she would be so happy with my gift from the backyard!
